Monitor maker KRK Systems has introduced the KRK10 powered subwoofer, a replacement of the RP10 powered subwoofer.
The heart of the sub is a 10-inch glass fiber Aramid woofer in the familiar yellow of KRK. Powering the box is a 225 W amplifier. Controls include a variable and sweepable low-pass filter and set high-pass filter (80 Hz). A foot switch bypass feature allows listeners to tune out the sub when necessary.
Expected frequency response is 34 Hz to 130 Hz with a maximum peak of 113 dB.
The curved design mimics recent KRK releases.
