KRK is launching the R6 monitor. Based on the powered RoKit studio monitor series, the passive R6 is a two-way speaker.
Users familiar with KRK products will recognize the six-inch yellow Aramid glass fiber woofer. The tweeter is a one-inch soft dome tweeter. Magnetic shielding should protect the drivers from stray RF/EM interference.
Expected frequency response is 49 Hz–20 kHz. Peak SPL is rated at 107 dB. Sensitivity is rated at 87 dB 1W/1m. Weight is just under 20 pounds and the dimensions are 13 x 10 by 11 inches.
KRK says that the curved front baffle eliminates diffraction diffusion. Connectors are five-way gold-plated binding posts.
