Lawo is showcasing its Ravenna-based commentator solution for use in sports and cultural event broadcasts. Tailored to the needs of today’s live broadcast productions, the unit features a comprehensive commentary system in a single source.
The company will exhibit at IBC2013. Also at that event, Lawo will focus on PC-based radio production using Lawo’s radio tools Jade and Edit. As a “mediator” between audio hardware and software, Jade establishes connections of any kind between the required audio signals — no external signal routing or signal switching is necessary.
With the system it is possible to recall prepared setups, such as telephone interviews, at the push of a button. The audio editor Edit, meanwhile, is geared to the needs of radio broadcast production.
