Rack and furniture maker Middle Atlantic Products has released version 4.0 of its Designer 3D layout and spec CAD software. The latest version adds new product groups. Designer 3D is free.
On the hardware side, Middle Atlantic has new fans available.
The 50 CFM Cabinet Cooler is a blower design with variable speed. As the name hints, it is specified at being able to move 50 CFM. It can be installed into furniture.
The 50 CFM Component Cooler can be used as a standalone, portable cooling unit to be placed with hot components. It also moves 50 CFM.
Both units are designed to be quiet-running, with a maximum of 29 decibels.
