The MXL Microphones and Mogami Cable divisions of Marshall Electronics are offering their own stimulus package — and this one doesn’t cost the taxpayer a dime.
The Educational Assistance Program cuts 10% of MAP on any MXL or Mogami products for any qualifying student or educational institution.
To qualify students must be enrolled in a college or accredited recording, production or broadcast school and must be enrolled in a music, recording or broadcast-related course. A secondary program allows institutions to sell discounted MXL and Mogami equipment to students.
MXL Professional Audio Division Business Development Manager Roy Harper said: “Everyone here at MXL and Mogami remembers what it was like to be a starving student and how difficult it is to collect good recording gear and still manage to eat.”
