An addition to the Axia Audio line of studio accessories will make its first appearance at the 2008 NAB Show.

For use with the Axia Element broadcast console, the new Element Touchscreen Timer Panel gives studio guests, producers and show hosts access to a range of time-keeping functions.

The touch-sensitive interface delivers features such as digital and analog clocks, configurable for 12- or 24-hour display, an elapsed-time counter with freeze and pause functions, an adjustable event countdown timer, expansion ports that can host up to five more Element studio accessories and a Web server for easy configuration.

In addition, it is possible to slave the new Axia panel to the console timer, use it as a timer master or operate it independently. The Element Touchscreen Timer Panel can be desk-mounted or, by means of an accessory mounting frame, turret-mounted.
