Arrakis, maker of consoles, furniture and broadcast software, has a partnership with Internet streaming services provider Securenet Systems to provide a solution for creating an affordable Internet radio station. Anyone signing up for a Securenet Systems plan (starting at $99) will receive Arrakis’ New~Wave automation system for free. Arrakis says this convention special is a $750 value.
According to Arrakis, “It is a solution that provides the radio automation software to produce and present your program material, and the streaming service that has the control panel to monitor your streams, the players for your listeners’ media devices, media accounting, ad delivery and much more.”
It said the offer is suitable or anyone planning an Internet station, including terrestrial radio stations that want to expand online.
