NAB Sneak Peek: WinMedia to Debut Voice-Tracking, More

Multivoice tracking feature lets broadcasters localize voice-tracks for regional broadcasts

WinMedia will place emphasis on its Voice-Track and Radiovision systems at this year’s spring NAB Show.

The WinMedia Voice-Track system is a multi-voice tracking feature that can localize voice tracks for regional broadcasts. The company explains that with this module, broadcasters can prepare a single playlist and have on-air talent add their voice tracks to one of 32 available recording tracks.

Voice-Track is embedded in the WinMedia Mixing module and allows users to edit mixing points, control all voice-tracks simultaneously, and have talent record voice-tracks of the same length. With multizone capabilities, the on-air module triggers the right voice-track for each broadcasting zone from the playlist.

Radiovision from WinMedia will also be on display. It enables DJs to control video playlists using WinMedia intuitive on-air interface. WinMedia says this module removes the need for separate workflows by providing and end-to-end system for linear broadcasts, IPTV and Internet deliveries.

The company has also announced that it will feature other products like its Newsroom system, as well as products that deal with multitrack editing, mix and voice-track editing, advanced music scheduling, on-air tools, and multiplatform deliveries.
