Transmitter maker Nautel is doing its best for international relations by hosting a DRM+ reception, April 16, 3–5 p.m. at the company’s NAB Show booth, C2623.
According to an announcement representatives from Digital Radio Mondiale and the DRM/DRM+ Consortium will be there to discuss DRM.
Nautel says that it will have at the reception a VS1 DRM+ transmitter that has been on a world tour demonstrating the transmitter and the technology. Stops have included Amsterdam, India, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Vatican City (see picture of that demo).
Nautel will also be providing live multimedia encoding and multiplexing (DRM+ can include a video component) demonstrations.
