The Radio-Assist digital radio automation platform from France’s Netia will be unveiled in its latest rendition, Version 8, at the NAB Show.

Version 8’s upgrades are concentrated in workflow, asset management and “publishing.” R-A 8 is integrated with Netia Media Asset Management system. Users move across media groups and share types of media (audio, video, text, images). Also, distribution between broadcast, Web, mobile and archives should be seamless at all points in the work flow with automated conversion, posting and media tracking.

Also for Radio-Assist is integration of the U-Share network management system. U-Share, part of the OpenNET platform, manages content distribution across attached networks, no matter what their format.

Christophe Carniel, CEO of Netia said: “By automating the process of publishing media and associated metadata, Radio-Assist 8.0 gives content owners and distributors a streamlined means of building multiplatform delivery into their existing workflows.”

He added: “The interfacing of Radio-Assist 8.0 with our Manreo digital asset management system further simplifies operations for media groups by facilitating the enrichment of metadata and sharing of video, audio, images and text throughout their operations.”
