Netia will take up residence at its parent company’s booth (Globecast, ZH4-30) at the upcoming CABSAT 2016 conference, where it will showcase its Netia Media Assist digital audio software suite, particularly its AirPlayList 2.0 module.
Fully integrated into the Media Assist software suite, AirPlayList 2.0 automates the playout of multiple radio channels simultaneously and with redundancy, explains the firm. The module provides target encoding of audio streams for CDNs like Shoutcast and Icecast. It also leverages datacasting functionality from the Media Assist AirPush module to deliver associated metadata.
AoIP-compliant, the AirPlayList 2.0 allows users to broadcast with a traditional physical sound card or IP-based virtual drivers. Its Web-based interface allows users to monitor status of media and playout of each channel. There is also integration of VST audio processing plugins for control over audio consistency and loudness of broadcast items.
CABSAT 2016 will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center from March 8-10.
