New AoIP Modules for Oslo

APT will the new version of its AoIP modules for the flagship Oslo multi-channel audio codec platform at IBC2013. The company highlights its channel density, codec management with ScriptEasy and award-winning SureStream technology.

With new Simplex Modes, the AoIP module can operate as a dual stereo encoder or dual stereo decoder in addition to the existing duplex stereo codec mode. As a result, the 3U Oslo can deliver or receive up to 32 channels of professional-quality audio, and the 1U unit supports up to 16 channels.

The AoIP module also now supports ScriptEasy, the powerful and flexible scripting tool from Audemat that enables advanced codec management and control. ScriptEasy allows you to create and manage individual back-up scenarios, remotely reconfigure units and receive confirmation of status as well as schedule specific changes to the configuration or streams.
