Digigram Expands ALP-X Sound Card Family

Four new cards are rolled out

Here’s another new product that was released at the NAB Show this month — actually four new products, as Digigram released a batch of new sound cards.

These are additions to its ALP-X range, which launched last year.

“The ALP442e, ALP442e-MIC, ALP882e and ALP882e-MIC embed the features of the established ALP-X range: pristine sound quality for playing and recording, and a robust design to provide the utmost reliability,” the company stated.

The models with a “MIC” suffix feature integrated mic preamps. The ALP-X line was introduced as a successor to the VX card family.

“The simultaneous use of analog and digital inputs/outputs, embedded mixers with full capacity, compatibility with Windows and Linux operating systems, or GPIOs included, are among the smart features that ensure the cards are an impeccable fit for mission-critical audio applications, where reliability and performance are paramount,” Digigram said.
