Multimedios Deploys Super Hi-Fi AI Platform

Radio company in Mexico will use the new Program Director system

The pace of announcements about the use of artificial intelligence for radio operations is picking up.

Today the news is from Super Hi-Fi, which says Mexican broadcast company Multimedios will use Super Hi-Fi’s new Program Director platform in its online and broadcast offerings.

Multimedios, the radio arm of Grupo Multimedios, has 60 stations. Enrique Calderon Gaona is CTO.

Los Angeles-based Super Hi-Fi creates transitioned streams of music and other content including ads, interviews, news and weather. It says in this announcement that the capabilities of Program Director “will now allow Multimedios to design, build, produce and deliver high-quality music-based radio stations at a fraction of the time and cost compared to legacy tools and methods.”

The broadcast company will start by using the AI for scheduling, automation, rotation, playlisting and music data management. “Super Hi-Fi’s Magic Stitch and Conductor technologies will be utilized for the content selection, assembly and production of each station, daily.”

Also this week we learned that Beasley Media Group is starting to use AI tools for video creation.
