Radio Workflow Unveils AI-Based Jingle and Imaging Creator

Jingle Buddy builds ad jingles, station imaging and original songs

Radio Workflow has announced the launch of Jingle Buddy, an AI-based platform for radio stations to create advertiser jingles, station imaging, original songs and music beds.

Jingle Buddy can create multiple imaging elements around a station identity, the company said in a release. The platform supports 21 jingle and imaging archetypes, including station anthems, shotgun IDs, sweepers, news themes, traffic themes and morning show imaging.

The tool also gives sellers the ability to work with a prospective advertiser to produce a finished commercial or a jingle specifically for that business.

“Instead of telling a business owner what you could create, you hit play,” Radio Workflow co-founder Fletcher Ford said in the release.

For advertiser jingles, users can provide the business name, offer, phone number, call to action and required phrases. Jingle Buddy builds the creative around those requirements and verifies required elements before producing the audio, Radio Workflow said.

With original songs, users can provide their own lyrics, create multiple musical arrangements and save style information. Qualifying plans include individual stems, giving production teams control over the finished product.

The platform operates its own music generation engine and includes API capabilities on qualifying plans.

Radio Workflow also offers spec ad creation through Broadcast Buddy, which allows sellers to create written and voiced spec commercials.

The company said that it provides cloud based technology and services to approximately 100 radio stations. It was was co-founded by Ford and Shane Zammit.
