From our Who’s Buying What page: WBGO(FM) in Newark, N.J., has replaced an aging clock system with Sprite Media Clocks as part of a studio facelift project.
Chief Technology Officer David Antoine said, “We sent them station logos, and two ‘samples’ later, we had just what we needed.” Two examples are shown.
The clocks are digital signage players that can display a station’s name, logo or other images while providing the functionality of a master clock system.
“The user has options to change the layout, moving backgrounds and titles,” Sprite says. “You can greet your guests each day or make money by having your studio sponsored. Unique motion backgrounds are also constructed to be glitch-free. In addition, we can provide multiple time zone clocks and use military time, if wanted.”
Displays can be managed from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
