Besides looking like a throwback microphone, the Delta uses retro technology with a 1.8 micron aluminum ribbon, with the expected figure 8 pattern. But unlike old ribbon mics, this one handles 48 V phantom power.
U.K.-based Sontronics expects the Delta to a 20 Hz–15 kHz frequency response. A maximum SPL of 135 dB is claimed. A standard XLR connector is used.
