Aiir Inc. has introduced a dedicated streaming platform for radio stations, replacing its legacy platform. It says it is suitable for any radio stations globally that require streaming services.
The new service is based on Zeno Media technology. It is scalable and provides the streamer the ability to stream in MP3 and AAC up to 320 kilobits per second with no limit on simultaneous listeners.
Features include on-demand and listen-again, analytics, a simple user interface and monetization options for programmatic. A failover playlist can take over in the event of an internet outage or loss of feed from sports coverage.
The package includes live stream encoder and web player. Packages start at $20 per month with discounts for annual billing.
The announcement was made by Aiir CEO Ricki Lee and Zeno Media CEO Morris Berger.
Zeno Media provides services to audio companies including streaming, podcasting, monetization and distribution. Other Aiir products include PlayoutOne automation system with WebVT for remote broadcasting, station websites, mobile apps and studio messaging dashboards.
