RCS said its HD Importer has been retooled to match the latest software release from iBiquity Digital Corp.
“The iBiquity 4.2 code core update enables the RCS HD Importer to send information to the latest exporters available in HD technology,” the company stated. “Conditional Access is also enabled, which allows listeners to gain access to specialty content and programming.”
The company said it also added RCS Watchdog to monitor and reconnect the importer to the transmitter if it is disconnected. Users can set up email notifications when connection fails.
And now RCS HD Importer automatically will recognize and pass ID3 data.
