Microphone maker Røde has announced an upgrade to its smartLav mobile device lavalier microphone.
Røde says that the smartLav+ is a broadcast-grade mic with improved sensitivity and a lower noise floor. It has an omni pattern and should work with iOS and Android devices.
The smartLav+ also has added a Kevlar-reinforced cable. A foam windshield, clip and storage pouch ship with it.
