
Microphone and accessories maker Rode will soon be shipping the i-XLR, an interface designed to connect standard XLR dynamic microphones with Apple iOS devices.
The i-XLR has a female XLR connector on one end of a three-meter/10-foot shielded cable and a Lightning digital connector on the other end.
A switchable 20 dB gain booster is featured along with a headphone output with a volume controller. The i-XLR can work with many recording apps. Expected availability is November. Expected price: $150
