RTS DSI-2008 Interfaces 2-Wire, 4-Wire Lines

The company said this makes test tones and nulling and ducking adjustments unnecessary.

(click thumbnail)RTS is showing the DSI-2008 Dual Digital Hybrid, which interfaces two two-wire intercom lines to two four-wire lines. The company said this makes test tones and nulling and ducking adjustments unnecessary.

The company says advanced digital signal processing achieves automatic nulling of the two-wire lines. Also, each hybrid has peak-reading level meters to match quickly the levels between the lines being interfaced.

An internal call signal option board also is available for the DSI-2008. The option board provides call signal capability with any of the two-wire systems such as RTS TW, Audiocom and Clear-Com. The output also can be directly connected to a port for the Adam, Adam-CS, Cronus, or Zeus GPI intercom series. No external circuitry is required.

Additional highlights include a universal power pack.

RTS also will have its VoIP Virtual Keypanel on display. VKP is a Windows-based application that gives users a fully-functioning RTS Digital Matrix Intercom user station on their PC. The Virtual Keypanel application connects via the PC’s Ethernet connection to any path that can support standard IP protocols, including LAN, WAN and VPN.
