Staco Energy Products has two new UniStar uninterruptible power supply series available, the C and P series, that it will exhibit at the NAB Show.
The C series is rackmountable and available in 1 kVA, 2 kVA and 3 kVA ratings. Double conversion should keep the electrical sine wave clean and consistent. A DC start function ensures that C series UPS start during power outages. An internal battery charger keeps the battery topped off. The C series can be remotely operated via the Web and it can deliver SMS alarm messages.
The more powerful P series are also double conversion units. They are available in 6 kVA, 8 kVA and 10 kVA ratings. Up to four of the P units can be run in parallel. The P series is also designed to be highly efficient — up to 90 percent AC to AC. Hot swappable battery packs keep maximum usable power on top. Other protective features include overload, short circuit temperature. Like the C series, the P series can be remote controlled via the Web.
