Streaming audio service Stitcher has announced an upgrade to its service for iOS devices.
Highlighted is a “Car Mode,” which the company explains is a simplified interface that should require less attention and thus less distraction for the driver. Stitcher says that its research indicates that almost 60% of usage comes while users are driving.
Additional upgrades include an optional “Breaking News” crawl from chosen media feeds and a chronological play menu option for shows. There are additional GUI tweaks along with improved battery management.
