Tascam’s new DR-07 is a digital handheld stereo recorder based on the larger DR-1 design.
The DR-07 records to SD cards in WAV or MP3 formats. Sample rates are 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz at 16- or 24-bit. Features include pitch, looping functions, low-cut filter and limiter. The dual microphones are electret condensers. Connectors for stereo mic, line in and out are 3.5 mm.
A USB 2.0 port can facilitate downloading recorded files. A mic stand mount is in the base.
The battery-operable (AA) DR-07 ships with a 2 GB SD card, windscreen and batteries. An optional power adapter, PS-P520, is available.
