Audio equipment maker TASCAM has released the iXZ, a mic/guitar interface for iPod Touches, iPads and iPhones.
The handheld iXZ is battery-powered and utilizes an XLR-1/4-inch combo jack for input while a 1/8-inch plug connects to the iProduct/iOS device.
There is also 1/8-inch headphone output.
Setting controls allow for 48V phantom power or Hi-Z guitar and gain control.
