Studio equipment maker Tascam has added a USB port to a rackmounted dual-well cassette player/recorder.

In addition to the rear-panel USB port for direct output to digital peripheral devices for archiving, the 202mkVII offers other features such as one-touch dubbing, pitch control (±12%), normal/chrome tape-compatibility, noise reduction and a front-panel 1/4-inch mic input that allows VO/karaoke mixing from Tape 1 source to Tape 2.
