Audio equipment manufacturer Tascam has released a new set of small monitors aimed at the desktop user, the VL-S3.
They are of a two-way design, with a three-inch woofer and half-inch tweeter. Powering those drivers are 14 W amplifiers in a master/slave relationship. There is a rear-panel volume control.
Inputs consist of RCA and 1/8-inch, with a 1/4-inch to RCA adapter included. Tascam claims a frequency response of 80 Hz–22 kHz. Overall size is 4.3 inches x 6.7 inches x 5.4 inches.
