Equipment maker Tascam has a new set of headphones — perhaps just in time for Christmas gift giving to deserving studio engineers!
The TH-07 headphones, according to Tascam, are designed to “duplicate the audio quality of high-end near field monitors.”
The business end(s) feature 50 millimeter drivers with 10 Hz to 30 kHz frequency response and sensitivity of 100 dB ±3 dB according to the company. A circumaural closed-back design aims to enhance bass response while minimizing external noise. Earcups can be rotated.
Two cables ship with the TH-07 — a coiled cable with a 1/8-inch connector. The second cable is an 8+-foot straight wire with a 1/8-1/4-inch multiconnector. Connectors are gold-plated.
A leather carrying pouch comes with the phones.
