Telos Adds to VX

NAB Sneak Peek: VoIP phone system gets new phones

Telos Systems’ VX VoIP phone system has two new siblings, the VSet6 and VSet1 phone sets.

The VSet6 is a six-line phone and the VSet1 is a single-line phone. They are controllable via Telos’ VX Producer call screener software, Axia Element 2.0 and iQ consoles along with other VX phones. They are compatible with Axia’s Livewire IP networking system. Both phones have a color LCD screen and are powered by an Ethernet connection.

According to a release, Telos’ VX phone system offers EQ, frequency shifting, processing, echo cancelling and an AGC.

Telos Product Manager Kirk Harnack noted that the company already offers VSet12 phones, but that some users asked for phones for smaller studios, where 12 lines weren’t needed.
