Telos Systems promises the ProStream to be an all-in-one rackmountable box – processor and encoder for Internet streaming. No PC is required.
The ProStream offers MPEG encoding licensed from Fraunhofer. Telos tossed some Omnia Audio processing into the box. Processing presets can be created and stored.
The ProStream can be controlled from the front panel or remote controlled via the Web. Metadata source, codec, bit rate and media server are all selectable. Naturally, as a Telos product it is fully Livewire-compatible. Also compatible with SHOUTcast and Wowza media servers.
There is also a pass-through for utilizing the processor section alone. Controllable headphone output and pro XLR connections round out the feature set.
