Telos Introduces Z/IPStream 9X/2

Software integrates processing, encoding and handoff to streaming providers within a single environment

The Telos Alliance’s new Web streaming software, Z/IPStream 9X/2, integrates audio processing, encoding and handoff to streaming providers within a single unified environment.

Using Omnia.9 processing, the audio program is optimized for bit-reduction, says the firm. It also includes “Undo” clipping restoration technology that reverses the damage done by “brickwall” audio mastering.

The audio shaping suite is complete with seven bands of audio processing and a full suite of test instrumentation. Furthermore, AAC-LC, HE-AAC v1/v2, and MP3 audio codecs from Fraunhofer IIS are used to encode audio for delivery to streaming distribution providers, while supporting multiple bitrates and codecs on each channel for Adaptive Streaming applications.

Z/IPStream 9X/2 can be run locally, or hosted on a cloud-based server.
