Acoustics First, a manufacturer and seller of acoustic treatment products, has a new acoustic treatment kit, PhaseFoam.
PhaseFoam is available in two packages. Package A consists of 16 two-inch thick, one-foot x one-foot foam squares formed with parallel wedges. Package B is a bass trap package with a pair of two-foot triangular traps that can be spilt horizontally for additional mounting configurations.
The PhaseFoam products are made of standard open cell polyurethane foam, with a density of approximately two pounds per square foot. The wedges have an NRC of 0.70 and a flammability factor that meets the UL94HF-1 spec. Price: $125.
