Tieline will unveil its Bridge-IT Xtra at IBC2013. Bridge-IT Xtra is Tieline’s newest IP audio codec and includes the features in Bridge-IT Pro, plus additional benefits.
The new IP audio codec includes AAC and aptX Enhanced algorithms; dual redundant IEC power supplies; additional GPIO I/Os; multicasting and six multi-unicasts; and is N/ACIP compliant.
The company is also showcasing for the first time in Europe its award-winning MerlinPlus, a 1RU dual stereo plus dual IFB codec. The MerlinPlus supports six duplex mono connections for field contribution and provides seamless interoperability with Bridge-IT, Commander G3, Merlin, Genie STL, Genie Distribution, Report-IT (Tieline’s iPhone and Android application), or any third-party IP codec supporting the EBU N/ACIP (3326) and N/IIIP (3347)-compliant streaming formats.
The MerlinPlus is also available with a WheatNet-IP audio interface. Moreover, Tieline will display integration with Netia’s iSnippet editing tool with its Report-IT Enterprise app.
