OnAir Medya is touting the benefits of its 4 kW FTC4K LDMOS FM transmitter, when compared to its older 1 kW MOSFET model.
Among the benefits of the newer 4 kW FTC4K model is less heat produced, a smaller amount of power consumed, and an improved design says the firm.
The OnAir Medya 4 kW FTC4k FM transmitter has built in RDS, can be programmed from the front keys of its exciter or over RS232 with a computer.
There is also a GPIO switch that runs an air-conditioner, an alarm function to stop the transmitter and it records event logs. As an option, a GSM modem can be added to control, monitor and listen to sound levels from over the internet.
