From our Who’s Buying What page… Since it launched in 1994, Radio Univox has been an important source of information and entertainment for southeastern and central Slovenia, including the several thousand people who commute daily between Kočevje and Ljubljana. For years, a traditional studio setup has worked well for the station, but management recently decided to bring in digital and IP technology to modernize its operations.
Working with local integrator MTD Electronics, the station installed an AEQ AudioPlus Windows-based automation system, along with an AEQ SYSTEL IP talk-show system to handle phone-ins and interviews, at its studios in Kočevje. AEQ Madrid staff supported MTD on the project.
With the upgrade complete, Radio Univox now has fully digital playout from the AudioPlus system along with an IP-based system for external contributions.
