WheatNet IP Meters GUI, M4-IP to Be Shown at IBC

Company brings several networked offerings

Among Wheatstone’s offerings at IBC2013 this year will be several advanced features for its WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network.

On display will be the IP Meters GUI app, which displays a “wall of meters” on a computer screen for ongoing monitoring of audio peak levels and average levels at selected points throughout the WheatNet-IP network. Included is a separate FFT meter for spectral readings plus visual alerts should a channel go dark.

Also, the new M4-IP four-channel mic processor comes in a 1RU Blade chassis with four preamps, four processors and four preset controls that can be set up and controlled from anywhere in the Wheatstone AoIP network.

The TS-22/TS-4 Talent Station is described as a first for radio broadcast studios: “This single-panel controller plugs into the WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network to provide controls for mic, headphone, amplifier and speaker levels all in one. No outboard equipment required, and because the TS-22/TS-4 uses power-over-IP, no separate wiring for power is needed.”

As previously reported, the company also will feature its new L-8 digital audio IP console and LIO-48 high-density logic Blade for the WheatNet-IP network.
