Organizations with a need to archive critical audiovisual content are a target sector for TransMedia Dynamics, a company based in the United Kingdom.
It will be at the NAB Show promoting Mediaflex, which supports the business and content requirements of the cultural audiovisual archive sector.
The company will introduce archive-specific functionality for the acquisition, accessioning, cataloguing and preservation of content stored on film, tape, CD and DVD, as well as for objects such as photographs, posters, artifacts and documents.
It also will show enhancements in the data model of Mediaflex that will enable the creation of sophisticated Name Authority Records together with user-configurable XML-based metadata schemas embedded in the core database.
Other cultural archive additions will include new workflows to support the business requirements of organizations in preserving physical content as well as the exploding base of digital content.
