Nautel Announces Fall Webinar Series

Nautel has announced its Fall Webinars, to take place on October 4, October 18 and November 1.

Nautel has announced its Fall Webinar series, with in-depth information and lively discussion on three diverse topics. All three Webinars are scheduled to begin at noon EDT on their respective dates. The first Webinar, scheduled for Wednesday, October 4, is titled “Building for a Billion.” The largest digital broadcasting system in the world has expanded to 33 sites, using high-power (100 – 300 kW) Nautel MW transmitters. This massive project by India’s Prasar Bharati for All India Radio has the goal of bringing digital radio to nearly a billion residents of the country. Nautel’s Chuck Kelly and guest Rakesh Aggarwal of Comcon Industries will go behind the scenes to share the details of this complex multi-site high power MW deployment. This webinar will run approximately 50 minutes with added time for questions. On Wednesday, October 18, Chuck Kelly will be joined by Nautel’s “Tips & Tricks” expert Jeff Welton to discuss AM translators. Kelly and Welton will explore what it takes to successfully deploy an AM translator. The webinar will run 30 minutes plus time for questions. The final Webinar in the series will be held on Wednesday, November 1 and is titled “Getting Content To/From the Transmitter Site.” Many broadcasters face an ever-increasing need to move more data to and from the transmitter site. Chuck Kelly will discuss the many solutions available for data transmission, as he shares some of the traditional and new data transport options for studio to transmitter site communications. This webinar will run 30 minutes plus time for questions. To register, visit www.nautel.com/webinars. Each completed Webinar qualifies for ½ SBE re-certification credit.
