BERLIN��ARD, Germany Radio and other commercial radio stations have joined forces with Radio Player Germany onradioplayer.de.�

300 Streams of private radio programs can already be found on�radioplayer.de, and from June 16th the streams of ARD radio are available.� Listeners will find the new Radio Player on the radioplayer.de webpage and can now download the free apps.

Radioplayer.de is a clear and easy-to-use search engine for Radio stations and their contents, via a PC or as a free app for smartphones, tablets, and Apple and Android Smart Watches.�The German Radio Player is available as both “Auto Android” and Apple’s “CarPlay” for in-car entertainment systems, which are increasingly being installed by major automotive companies.

ARD is planning on using a �hybrid strategy� for digital broadcasting, as it plans to make the programs available via both digital terrestrial (DAB +) Terrestrial and Internet streaming. The hybrid digital radio strategy was adopted by ARD in spring 2010 and reaffirmed in the fall of 2014.
