The European Digital Radio Forum (EDRF) is set to hold its third annual Digital Radio Summit on Feb. 16 at the headquarters of the European Broadcast Union (EBU) in Geneva.
EDRF is a trade and technical group whose membership includes Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM), World DMB Forum (Eureka 147), Radio DNS, and the Internet Media Device Alliance (IMDA).
The event is designed to bring together broadcasters, industry representatives and operators for a day of joint panel discussions and presentations on the latest developments in European digital radio. The summit also serves as a centerpiece for EDRF’s “Radio Week”, during which technical and marketing committees from member organizations hold their various meetings throughout the week.
This year’s program includes a hands-on Radio DNS code development workshop hosted by the EBU, as well as a report from the European Radio Spectrum Policy Group. Each of the EDRF member organizations will present its respective technical updates, along with a roundtable discussion on radio standardization.
More information regarding registration for the Digital Radio Summit is available from Mathias Coinchon (EBU) or Filka Hnni (EBU).
