GABORONE, BOTSWANA�More than 60 participants at the recent Southern African Development Community Digital Broadcasting Migration Forum got the latest DRM information from representatives of the DRM Consortium and DRM Southern Africa Platform, according toDRM news.
The participants also got to hear a live shortwave demonstration of DRM courtesy of Babcock International�s SW transmitter on Ascension Island, as they listened on the far side of the continent at Dar Es Salam, Tanzania.
A new receiver, the AV-DR-114, of Indian manufacture, was used for the demonstration.
