DRM+ Testing Planned in South France

Nice, France – Oct 15, 2012 – France’s CSA has authorized a DRM+ test in the Nice area, in the south of France. It will occur in Band I (near 60MHz).

DRM+ needs only 96kHz in bandwidth to provide a 186kb/s data rate. The bands for DRM+ are defined as follows:
� 47MHz to 68MHz (old TV Band I)
� 65.8MHz to 74MHz (OIRT FM Band)
� 76MHz to 90MHz (Japanese FM Band)
� 87.5MHz to 107.9MHz (FM Band II)
� 108MHz to 130MHz (China)
� Possibly 174MHz to 230MHz (Band III)
