SAN JOSE, Calif. � The corporate structure of which digital technology HD Radio is a part has been evolving quickly: Tessera Holding Corp., parent company of HD Radio owner DTS Inc., has changed its name to Xperi Corp.

The company�s Nasdaq symbol changes from TSRA to XPER.

DTS is now a subsidiary of Xperi, as are FotoNation, Invensas and Tessera. The parent entity has about 700 employees in total; Tom Lacey is CEO.

It was just a few months ago that Tessera Holding announced its $850 million deal to acquire DTS, and it was only a year or so before that when DTS entered into an agreement to acquire HD Radio developer iBiquity Digital Corp.�
