iHeartRadio Adds Features to Android Auto, Apple CarPlay

Users can now save and replay music while in the car

NEW YORK Android Auto and Apple CarPlay have added iHeartRadio Plus and iHeartRadio All Access, powered by Napster. The services enable listeners to save and replay songs from live radio, access songs on demand and offline listening.

Drivers and passengers can replay songs they hear and save songs from live radio directly to their library from their dashboards. According to the announcement, this bridges the gap between music discovery and music collection.

In addition, drivers can browse their saved My Stations, For You stations, nearby radio stations, as well as artist stations by genre, among other features.

The beta versions of the services were announced in December 2016. Plus is available for $4.99/month and All Access costs $9.99/month.
