LINK�PING, Sweden– Myanmar Radio and TV (MRTV), after launching a public tender, will now start a DAB trial, according to World DAB.
The trial system will be built-out by the Hong Kong-based system integrator BTL. Paneda will provide DAB Head-End Equipment and support. The trial will start with one transmitter in the largest city Yangon, and after the trial the project will be evaluated. �Further plans include an expansion to more cities.
The complete DAB system can be realized in a Paneda 1U hardware package, which contains as many as 16 audio services, multiplexers, management and the data content system.� Furthermore, the complete system can be installed in a server platform in the customers� existing environment, or provided turnkey using a cloud-based system without hardware.
