BRUSSELS�Radio transmission system operatorNorkringplans to greatly expand its DAB+ coverage of the Flanders region of Belgium in the coming year.�
Earlier this year Norkring launched a commericial DAB+ network for Brussels and environs. Currently eight stations are carried on the DAB+ multiplex transmission: Top Radio, VBRO Radio, Radio Maria, Radio FG, Radio City, Club FM and Family Radio, and BBC Worldservice.
In 2016 Norkring will commission three new stations in Egem, Genk and Schoten, so a large part of Flanders receive radio via DAB +.� Plans to cover the remainder in the country are in place for 2017, according toradio.nl.��
