THUN, Switzerland�Private Broadcaster Radio BeO is in the midst of a DAB+ transmission test for Thun and environs, according to radioszene.de.�
The transmitter site, pictured below, is at an elevation of 2362 meters (7750 feet) above Lake Thun.�
The test period started on Nov. 26�and is running through Dec. 26. The mux can be heard on channel 6B. Even with a fairly low power level of 50 watts, listeners responding to the test, using the forum of ukwtv.de, describe reception as �surprisingly good.��
