COLUMBIA, Md.�iBiquity Digital andRock Island Media have won the Silver Telly award, at the 36th�annualTelly Awards, for their entry “The Future of Radio.” �The winning selection was chosen from among 12,000 entries.
“The Future of Radio” is a short video about HD Radio Technology, and was produced by Rock Island. Crafted entirely with 3-D animated graphics, viewers are transported into what the future of radio may look like � only to discover that all of the �futuristic� features are available right now.
A judging panel of over 500 industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.
Over 1,000 hours of computer rendering time were required to deliver this cinematic journey, delivered with a dramatic musical score and narration. The video can be viewed here.
