Group One Ltd., which is U.S. distributor for a number of pro audio brands, named Julian Gates as technical support engineer for DiGiCo and KLANG.
“Having joined the company in mid-November, Gates is spending the remainder of 2022 in Group One’s Farmingdale, N.Y., office being trained by fellow Technical Support Engineers Chip Sciacca and Trevor Waite,” the company said in the announcement, which was made by VP of Professional Audio Matt Larson.
“In January, he will transition to the Rock Lititz campus in Lititz, Pennsylvania where he will work with the team based at DiGiCo’s new POD 5 location.”
Gates was system engineer for LD Systems, working on festivals and shows like Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. He also worked with Clair Global and other sound companies on tours.
